Will 2010 be Better for Lucky Pennies?

Since my last post, I've been extremely busy. I still managed to find lucky pennies and other lucky found change while out and about running around town doing errands and business. I found a total of 19 lucky pennies (1¢ coin), 3 lucky dimes (10¢ coin), 2 lucky nickles (5¢ coin), and even one lucky loonie ($1 coin) for a total of found change of $1.59 over 8 days. That gives me a daily average of 1.59/8 ~ $0.19 per day. If I've calculated correctly, April 30, 2010 is the 119th day of 2010. So my daily found change running average (in dollars) is approximately $0.08. If I keep this running average up, I'll have found just under $30.00 in found change by the end up the year. It'll be interesting to see how 2010 shapes up compared to how much found change I found in 2009.

Total Found Change Since Last Post: $1.59
Total Recorded 2010: $9.87 + €0.06 + £0.01
Grand Total Since Recording January 19, 2009: $32.78 + $1.59 + £0.31 + €0.06 = $34.37 + £0.31 + €0.06.

QUESTION: What's your running average so far this year? How is 2010 comparing to 2009 for lucky found change? Please share your thoughts in the comments section of this post.
