Found Change on Walk in Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver

Late this afternoon I went for a walk in the Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver, BC, Canada on my way to OrganicLives to pick up a few raw organic nuts, organic sun-dried fruits, and a bottle of raw organic young Thai coconut water. While walking, I found four lucky pennies. Nice :)

Most Successful Found Change Day so far in 2010

Today I was running around town. In the morning, I was in Burnaby and found a lucky toonie ($2.00 Canadian coin) at a Skytrain Station. Later, while walking with a friend, I found an additional lucky penny and a lucky dime. I then made my way to downtown Vancouver for a seminar held by Pure Living Wellness where, among many other topics, the benefits of hydrating with filtered ionized water was discussed. Afterward, I headed over to OrganicLives (1829 Quebec Street, Vancouver, BC) for dinner with some friends. On my way home after the meal, I found some additional lucky pennies - wow!

This evening I met up with an awesome friend briefly at UBC. On our walk at UBC and then on my transit trip home, I found one lucky nickel and two lucky pennies. Nice :)

Another Two Lucky Penny Day

This morning, I took a trip to the local laundromat and found a rather beat-up Canadian 1991 penny. When I roll it with my other lucky pennies and deposit it into the Lucky Penny Journal high interest savings account, I'm certain it will probably be taken out of circulation. In any case, it's still one more lucky penny for me :)

This evening, I grabbed a few organic fruits and vegetables from a local supermarket. I found another lucky penny laying on the ground near one of the self-checkout machines. Yahoo!

This evening I went out for dinner at OrganicLives (1829 Quebec Street, Vancouver, BC, Canada) and had an amazing raw vegan meal. While there, I also ran into R. James Oliver of Pure Living Wellness. Last week I went through one of his famous workouts. I took a trip downtown earlier today to drop off a book for a friend. On the trip, I found one lucky penny.

This evening I went for another walk to check some prices at a couple local stores. I found another lucky penny on the walk.

Earlier this evening, I shared an amazingly delicious raw vegan dinner with a couple of friends. The host played some lovely music in the background the whole time. After dinner, when we were saying goodbye to one of the excellent guests, we got to see a beautiful double rainbow. On my way home from the raw vegan dinner party (with the lovely music still playing in my head), I found 3 lucky pennies. A thoroughly excellent evening out :)

Found Change on Walk in Downtown Vancouver

Today I touched-based briefly with a good friend near Broadway & Grandville (Vancouver, BC, Canada) during his lunch break from a training course. Afterwords, I headed downtown to spend some time with another good friend. We grabbed a delicious and enjoyable raw vegan lunch at Gorilla Food. Over the course of walking with both friends, I found five lucky pennies - not bad! :)

This evening I went for a walk with one of my best friends. I happened upon a lucky penny over the course of our walk together. I'm truly grateful - a nice walk with an amazing new friend and a lucky penny -- can't beat that! :)

How One Lucky Penny Turned into Three Lucky Pennies

Earlier today I went for a walk on Commercial Drive to pick up some fresh organic fruits and vegetables, the mainstay of my raw vegan diet. On my walk, I overstepped a lucky penny by one step. I took one step back and swooped up the penny. There was a guy not too far from me. He was surprised -- he told me that this was the first time that he had ever seen someone pick up a penny in at least 5 years. I said something like "Well... it's not just any normal penny after all... it's a LUCKY PENNY!" and gave him one of my trademark big beaming smiles :) We exchanged a few more sentences, then he said something like: "Well, why don't you just take my pennies since no one wants them - I usually just toss them." He grabbed the change from his pocked. There were 2 pennies amongst the larger denomination coins. I asked if he was sure that he wanted to give me the pennies and he said yes. So that's how I turned one lucky penny into three lucky pennies :)

Over the course of the rest of my walk, I also found 3 additional lucky pennies. It was a 6 lucky penny day it seems :)

I often go to raw vegan potlucks to share ideas, meet great people, and eat amazing healthy food. Today, I brought some raw vegan brownies made with raw organic carob powder to a potluck at a friends house. On the trip home I found two lucky pennies :)
