Today I took a walk after lunch to get some organic fruits and vegetables from Eternal Abundance. It was a beautiful sunny day here in Vancouver, BC, Canada. On the trip I found one dime, 5 lucky pennies, and a 1 penny sterling coin (£0.01).
Today's Total Found Change: $0.15 + £0.01
Total Recorded 2010: $3.25 + €0.06 + £0.01
Grand Total Since Recording January 19, 2009: $27.60 + $0.15+ £0.30 + £0.01 + €0.06= $27.75 + £0.31 + €0.06.
The fact that I found some British currency today inspires me to ask today's QUESTION: Have you found any interesting foreign currency this year? Please tell us about your finds in the comments section of this post. It's possible that over the coming month, I may find more found change in foreign currency due to the influx of tourist visiting Vancouver, BC, Canada for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. I will of course report on my finds. :)
