This blog is inspired by The New York City ChangePot: "Documenting found change - from pennies to dollars- since October 2005. As seen on CNN, Fox News, and NBC." I initially set out to reproduce the success of the Humphery family as a personal an experiment. Over the course of the past year, picking up "lucky pennies" as I go about my daily business has turned into a bit of a hobby. It makes my walks much more enjoyable when I come home with a pocketful of found change :)
