Lucky Five Dollar Canadian Bill!

Since my last post ("A lucky Ten Dollar Canadian Bill and More!") on August 21, 2010, I've found another lucky Canadian bill - this time a $5.00CAN bill. I also found one loonie ($1.00CAN coin), two lucky quarters ($0.25CAN coin), eight dimes ($0.10CAN coin), 3 nickles ($0.05CAN coin), and 113 lucky pennies (0.01CAN coins)! This give me a total of $8.58 in found lucky money over the last 26 days and daily lucky found money average of $8.58/26 = (approx.) $0.33 per day. Wonderful! :)

Total Recorded 2010: $77.86 + €0.06 + £0.01 + 1.00Mex$
Grand Total Since Recording January 19, 2009: $93.78 + $8.58 + £0.31 + €0.06 + 1.00Mex$= $102.36 + £0.31 + €0.06 + 1.00Mex$.

I've now found over $100 in lucky change in LESS than 2 years. Neat!

Will 2010 be Better for Lucky Pennies?

Since my last post, I've been extremely busy. I still managed to find lucky pennies and other lucky found change while out and about running around town doing errands and business. I found a total of 19 lucky pennies (1¢ coin), 3 lucky dimes (10¢ coin), 2 lucky nickles (5¢ coin), and even one lucky loonie ($1 coin) for a total of found change of $1.59 over 8 days. That gives me a daily average of 1.59/8 ~ $0.19 per day. If I've calculated correctly, April 30, 2010 is the 119th day of 2010. So my daily found change running average (in dollars) is approximately $0.08. If I keep this running average up, I'll have found just under $30.00 in found change by the end up the year. It'll be interesting to see how 2010 shapes up compared to how much found change I found in 2009.
